Borders planning to sell device-neutral e-books.
The new e-bookstore will offer mobile reading applications and will be “device neutral,” allowing readers to download content to the most popular smartphones, including the Apple iPhone, BlackBerry, Palm Pre and Google Android devices. The e-reader and Kobo service will “give the reader the ability to add any e-book format to the device.”
