User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Love It!
I have owned my Iliad 2nd edition for about seven months now. When it first arrived, I changed the installed batteries with larger. I now get about 15 hours of reading time before I must recharge. I have read at least 25 books on my Iliad – most of them free from Gutenberg Press. I also own a Kindle 1, which I found to be a bit too small (screen-wise), although I was happy with the Kindle for quite some time. Now I have given the Kindle to my wife, who has also become an e-book reader. The Iliad is just the right size screen for me. However, it is a bit too big to take with me into the wilderness backpacking and camping. The new Sony 5″ screen seems just right for that. Maybe this Christmas? One final point: If you do get an Iliad, be satisfied with the plastic cover that comes with it. I believe that it is made by M-Edge. I bought an M-Edge leather cover for my Iliad… it lasted about 4 weeks before the leather wore through to the plastic underlayer.

5 Stars Great Ebook Reader
This is an excellent ebook reader. I use it all the time to read architectural documents and sketch drawings.
